Four Decades of Service to the Intelligence Community Research Associates of Syracuse has been performing critical studies, analysis and systems engineering work for the US Intelligence Community since 1986. RAS's founders have been in the ELINT collection and processing business since the 1960s, beginning with the design of KILTING and EWIR databases for the US Department of Defense. Now RAS is tying together ELINT, EW and other types of sensors — and weapons — to build new networks for our Warfighters. RAS started as a small team of innovative engineers who wanted to provide extremely high quality studies and analysis for the US DOD. The first clients included the National Security Agency, the Central Intelligence Agency, the Defense Intelligence Agency and others. Those organizations are still our customers. Today the RAS team includes a mix of world-recognized scientists, engineers, technicians, inventors and project managers.
